Long battery life… that is relative.
If use it for gaming the battery drains fast, but as a tablet it is fairly good for as far as android go.

Your Cons are its expensive and to stream you need a modern gaming PC? It just came out so prices will be down in 8-12 months (maybe as early as xmas) and surely only pro gamers are going to buy a top end gaming tablet so PC specs arent an issue? My 10p

wut… AMD 6core GPU? You high? The shield tablet REQUIRES an Nvidia GTX card from 600 series and up and AMD has no say in that. There is no such thing as an "AMD 6 core GPU" she means the 6core CPU probably like an fx 6100.

You got the pc specs wrong. You need a gtx 650 or higher. Everything else even though they say is a requirement it's recommended. You said a core i5 is needed but a core i3 is actually there minimum and what I use. If you are looking to gamestream and don't have the required pc to do so it will at the least cost you the graphcs card upgrade. However it ran me over $700. when the portable was released. So 700. on top of $400. turns it into a $1,100. deal. Unless you have a controller like an xbox or moga and don't want the cover. Then it's $1,000. If you don't want all that you can still stream grid games and play android games, emulators, and shield exclusives. Of course you could also just use it for productivity apps and such.
Nice review, glad to see more Shield reviews this year! 300 is good price for such a versatile well-built powerful device. Plus android are cheaper than console games. It is more future-proof as well, so you not need to replace it year after year. There really is no competition the Shield line of products.
