Design and Display
The HP Dragonfly G4 laptop is the fourth generation in the Dragonfly series, with evolutionary improvements over its predecessor, the G3. It comes in a stylish slate blue cover made of magnesium alloy, which not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also makes it incredibly lightweight, weighing only 2.2 pounds or one kilogram. This laptop is specifically designed for business and small office/home office (SOHO) use, competing with the likes of Dell XPS 13 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
One of the standout features of the Dragonfly G4 is its 13.5-inch display with a unique three by two aspect ratio, similar to Microsoft Surface products. This aspect ratio offers a more immersive viewing experience, making it ideal for multimedia consumption and productivity tasks.
Design and Convertibility
Unlike some other laptops in the market, the Dragonfly G4 is a conventional design laptop and not a convertible. It doesn’t come with a stylus pen, and you have the option to choose whether you want a touch screen or a non-touch screen model. This flexibility allows users to customize their laptop based on their specific needs and preferences.
Pricing and Configuration
Previously, the high price was the only major complaint about the Dragonfly G4. However, HP has now lowered the price, starting at $1274. This makes it a more affordable option, especially considering the impressive configuration it offers. Even if you spend less than $2000, you can still get a well-configured laptop that meets your requirements.
It’s important to note that businesses often get volume discounts, and HP frequently offers sales and deals to its customers. With the competitive pricing of the Dragonfly G4, it can easily rival the Dell XPS 13, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and even the MacBook Air M2 Edition.
Perfect Device for Back-to-School
As the back-to-school season approaches, it’s the perfect time to search for a suitable device for students. The HP Dragonfly G4 laptop offers an excellent combination of portability, performance, and affordability. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry around campus, while its powerful configuration ensures smooth multitasking and productivity.
In conclusion, the HP Dragonfly G4 laptop is an impressive choice for business and SOHO users, with its stylish design, immersive display, affordable pricing, and customizable options. Whether you’re a student or a professional, this laptop offers the perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics. So, make sure to consider the Dragonfly G4 when looking for your next laptop.

Intel 13th Generation U-Series Processors
The HP Dragonfly G4 laptop is equipped with the latest Intel 13th generation U-Series processors. These processors, though not as powerful as the P series processors found in some other laptops like the Dell XPS 13, are sufficient for everyday use. With a standard 15-watt power consumption, they provide the necessary performance for business tasks and casual use. While they may not be suitable for professional video editing or intensive tasks, they offer a balance between power and efficiency, which is ideal for most Ultrabook users.
Portable and Lightweight
One of the standout features of the HP Dragonfly G4 is its portability and lightweight design. With a weight of just a few pounds, this laptop is easy to carry around, making it perfect for frequent travelers or on-the-go professionals. Its slim profile allows it to fit easily into most laptop bags or backpacks, without adding unnecessary bulk. The Dragonfly G4 combines style and functionality, making it a versatile option for those who value mobility.
High-Quality Display
The laptop features a high-quality display that enhances the viewing experience. With vibrant colors and sharp details, it brings images and videos to life. The Dragonfly G4 boasts excellent brightness levels, making it easy to use even in well-lit environments. Whether you are working on spreadsheets, editing photos, or streaming your favorite shows, the display delivers impressive visuals that are sure to impress.
Long Battery Life
Battery life is always a critical factor to consider when choosing a laptop. The HP Dragonfly G4 excels in this department, thanks to its long-lasting battery. This ensures that you can work or enjoy entertainment for extended periods without constantly searching for an outlet. The laptop’s energy-efficient design and optimized power management contribute to its impressive battery performance, allowing you to stay productive throughout the day.
Performance and Battery Life
But long battery life counts for a lot of people and that’s something that this has. So performance is average for this, given what the processor is and it’s fine for just about everything when compared to laptops from a couple of years ago. Its wicked fast, let’s put it that way, so good for anything that you’re going to throw out in the world of business or some Photoshop or even occasional video I didn’t find for that stuff.
Battery Capacity and Efficiency
But the battery life here with the 68-watt hour battery, which is pretty high capacity for something that is even lighter than the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and just as compact as an XPS 13. That’s very good and the efficiency here with Intel Evo and on the platform, so yeah. Usually, we don’t get the battery life until the end interview. But it’s such an important point here that I would say that now HP claims up to like 20 hours or something like that and just testing more real-world style with a mix of productivity and light use, applications bright brightness at a 200 nits, which is 50 for most of the displays that are available for this and we were getting like 14 hours or so that’s for run time, that’s pretty good.
Beating the Competition
So this beats the Windows competition, and it’s actually slightly better than even the M2 MacBook Air. Huh, nice. So the three by two aspect ratio despite the battery life, the really good looks, the magnesium alloy casing.
