This particular model of the Pixel tablet comes in the color Hazel, although it is available in two other colors as well. The back of the tablet features a soft finish, which not only adds to its elegance but is also effective in hiding fingerprints. This is due to Google’s nano ceramic finish.
The tablet boasts a 10.95 inch LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560×1600 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Despite its large display, the Pixel tablet is surprisingly lightweight, weighing just 493 grams, which is a little over 1 pound. It measures a little over 10 inches in width, 6.7 inches in height, and 0.3 inches in thickness.
Orientation and Controls
Unlike the vertical orientation of an iPad, the Pixel tablet is designed to be used horizontally. This means that the fingerprint sensor and power button are placed at the top of the tablet when held horizontally. Just below that, you will find the volume buttons. Additionally, there are two speakers located on both the left and right sides of the device. While they may be standard for a tablet, they still provide decent sound quality. On the bottom of the Pixel tablet, you’ll notice two rubber grips, which prove to be quite handy when you need to prop up the device quickly.
