A Feast for the Eyes
Before we delve into the details, take a moment to appreciate the incredible banner art at the top of the event page. It’s like a menu, with various exciting elements catching your eye. I’ve been mesmerized by it, and I’m sure you will be too. The art depicts VI, a scoop more precious than gold, hinting at the location for this event – Aldar. If you’ve never explored the gold saucer before, this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
Unlocking the Event
To participate in Make It Rain, you need to meet two requirements. First, you must be level 15 or above. Second, you must have completed either the Gridanian Uldan or the Leminton Envoy Quest. If you’re a new player, don’t worry. Just head over to X, 9.4y9, 0.02, just outside of Uldar Steps of Nul, and look for Kippy Jackia. You can easily spot her with the nerdy little Moogle icon. She will have a golden opportunity waiting for you and will ask for your help in planning her next hit article.
Exciting Rewards Await
Now, let’s talk about the rewards. This time around, Make It Rain offers a range of rewards, all in the form of MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points). Make It Rain Event: A 50% Saucer Increase and Exciting Rewards
The highly anticipated Make It Rain event is back, and Final Fantasy XIV players are in for a treat! This year, the event offers not only a 50% increase in saucer rewards, but also a range of exciting prizes to be obtained. Let’s take a closer look at what the event has in store.
Increased Saucer Rewards and More
The main attraction of the Make It Rain event is the generous 50% increase in saucer rewards. This means that players can earn more MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points) than ever before, making it easier to obtain those coveted prizes. Alongside this, there are various other rewards up for grabs, such as the crystal tower, striker monster toss, kafaker machine, and more. These prizes can be purchased at a reduced MGP cost from different vendors. Moreover, previous event items, including fireworks, are also available from the same vendors.
The Wind-Up Godbit: A New and Exciting Minion
One of the highlights of this year’s Make It Rain event is the introduction of the Wind-Up Godbit minion. This adorable and meticulously designed minion is a first for the game, and players are truly excited to add it to their collections. Hovering over the minion, a description reveals that it is “no less gentlemanly for its compact size.” The attention to detail in creating this majestic creature is truly commendable, and players can’t wait to have it accompany them on their adventures.
Collecting the Desired Rewards
While the Wind-Up Godbit minion is certainly a star attraction, the main goal for many players during Make It Rain is to save up MGP for their desired items. The event provides a great opportunity to accumulate the necessary MGP for high-cost prizes, such as the Blackjack Airship Mount, which requires a staggering 4 million MGP. Whether it’s mounts, minions, cards, or glamour items, there is always something worth collecting at the Gold Saucer. Many dedicated players have worked hard over the years to gather a wide variety of items, and the Make It Rain event is a chance to add even more treasures to their collections.
Looking Forward to the Future
As the Make It Rain event brings excitement and new rewards, players can’t help but look towards the future. The event is a reflection of the dedication and creativity of the developers, as well as the enthusiasm of the player community. With each passing year, Final Fantasy XIV continues to amaze with its innovative events and engaging gameplay. Whether it’s Make It Rain or other upcoming events, players can anticipate more memorable experiences and even greater rewards in the future.
Capping Out on MGP in Final Fantasy 14
The Benefits of Capping Out
They add more stuff, but to do so, it is always a good idea to try and cap out on your MGP. Capping out refers to reaching the maximum amount of MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points) available in the game. Even though I am nearly capped again after buying everything, including the new Blackjack Mount myself, it is always nice to cap out if you possibly can.
Opportunities for Alts
If you are already capped on your MGP, it might be a great opportunity to start on some alts as well. However, this is probably a very minute population that will be doing that like myself. Nevertheless, it is a great opportunity to earn even more MGP and make progress in the game.
Make It Rain Campaign
Yeah, really cool, really big fan of the Make It Rain campaign. The Make It Rain campaign is an event in Final Fantasy 14 where players can earn additional MGP from all MGP items and rewards. This is a great opportunity for players to boost their MGP and make significant progress towards their goals. Additionally, the campaign offers a special minion as a bonus, which is a great addition to any player’s collection.
Final Thoughts
The 30th of June is just around the corner, and there is so much happening in this game. We are currently leading up through a bit of a dull patch before the next major iteration, which will be 6.45.
