Full review is on the way. In the meantime, here’s a quick performance tease: http://hothardware.com/news/on-test-the-track-with-dells-venue-8-7000-and-intels-moorefield – The super svelte, 6mm, 309 gram Venue 8 7000 is equipped with Intel’s RealSense camera, which gives the slate depth perception similar to the human eye. The Venue 8 7000 sports an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 2K (2560×1600) resolution that looks absolutely fantastic. An edge-to-edge screen makes the most out of the available real-estate. There’s also a micro-USB 2.0 port for charging the device, a volume button, a power button, and front-facing speakers on the bottom. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat (though we’re told a Lolipop upgrade is coming) and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3500 Series (Moorefield) quad-core processor paired to 2GB of RAM.
