PiPo X10 anmeldelse – Blæserkølet Hybrid Mini PC med 3:2 Skærm i forhold til forholdet
We also have the tablet screen, meaning we don't need to connect a keyboard up there to launch applications, and you can also use the on screen keyboard to type things and which is one of the advantages. So what has changed in the x10? Godt, we now have a 3 ved 2 ratio screen and as in fact, the Microsoft Surface, 3 screen so there's a resolution of 1920 ved 12, and it now has a 10000 milliamp hour battery, something that the other models did not have. So you can transfer this one from one room to another if you wanted to and connect it up to another TV and now the change one of the most important changes as they now have included active cooling. So that means it has a fan in there. Now that is on to help keep that atom. X50 8300 from overheating, which happened in the older models, if you lift it, lift it on for a continuous whole day, it would eventually climb up to around about 89 degrees and run into thermal throttling. Now this doesn't happen anymore, because there's a fan in there, so the x10 is 21 centimeters tall for those who want to put those in a a TV cabinet, you can also bend that antenna down a little bit that's quite a high gain one that it has On there, with very good range and reception and you'll see, we have the power on controls here, like a tablet: full size, Usb 2 Port, en USB 3 port headphone jack.
But we are lacking a actual microphone on the device on the bat, a micro SD card slot. I can't confirm it takes 128 gigabyte micro sd s with no problems and it runs at full high speeds. We have a USB 2 Port, there's 2 of them on the back, a full size HDMI and a hundred megabit LAN port there and finally, 5 volt DC n for charging the device and keeping it powered. Now you notice, along here we have this girl there's a mesh behind it to stop dust getting in that that's. Dybest set, the vents there for the fan and side. Endelig, on the left hand, side is the second speaker and here's a look at the internals. You see it has a tiny little fan. This is what keeps it cool and stops it from going over 80 grader. So it actually does quite a good job, but it is audible. You can always hear it's on and has a constant velocity. It doesn't seem to vary it all on the back. There is a very large thermal pad. Now this demo pad is transferring heat also from the base of the motherboard onto the back of the x10. So all of the four USB ports, including the USB 3 Port, can power external hard drives. Just fine and USB 3 port is working at USB 3 Hastigheder. Imidlertid, there's one problem when you connect in an external hard drive for some reason, it creates static over the left and right speakers see you'll hear this is like a buzzing noise and this isn't good.
Even though the screen hard was capable of 400 lumens of brightness, we only get 200 on the maximum sitting. The screen looks ok, their colors on it are fine, the sharpness is good, it's, definitely lacking a bit of brightness and because it does have quite a large air gap between the digitizer glass and the actual IPS panel below it's very susceptible to reflections here other than That it's, not that bad the screen. I just wish that it was brighter so moving over to have a look at this system in more detail now with a capture card it's going to go quickly into the device manager to show you what hardware we have on board. So the disk drive is a Toshiba, 0, 64 GE. Now the speeds of this drive aren't bad at all. You see here the crystal disk mark school that I got quite happy with the result. Very good speeds around for an emmc and the wireless is a real tech cancer, typical one and there's the fast ethernet adapter. So it's used be two fast ethernet 100 megabit pr. sekund. So you can see that animation there thats a little bit laggy that's, very common with the adams, and i did run some benchmarks i'd like to run on these devices. So here's ice storm extreme 1.2. Now this is a little slower than what it should be. There should be a bit of higher. There should be around 10000. The same goes here for the ice.
Storm. Unlimited scores should be around fifteen sixteen thousand, but because the RAM should to show you, the ram is only running at 1066 Megahertz. It should be running a 1600 which the chipset supports, so is it capable of displaying two monitors at the same time? Så, Ja, it can use the internal screen and then project by the full sized HDMI. So just quickly show you here that you are able to just swap over between, so you can duplicate this displays, which I'm doing at the moment to capture this for my screen capture card – and you just go along here and you can easily change that to display Only on one, so you can only have your TV running and you can turn off the actual screen on the unit itself or you can extend the displays battery life of it. Godt, it does have a 10000 milliamp hour battery in there. Although battery barzoni, detecting 9188, you get around 6 til 7 hours on at the moment, that's not reporting correctly. My full run time there on 5 timer og 36 minutes that's because of doing doing gaming and benchmarking stuff so web use you get around seven or so hours on it. So this is the only game I'm going to test out on this particular device, because I've covered the atom x50 thousand. So often now you can see that the game is playable here: I'm running in a 720p on the very low settings and it's around 40 frames per second dipping down to about 30.
So to quickly recap my findings, the battery life on it is good, and now we have a battery, you can swap it from one room to the nether, which is a bit of a benefit there and the fan works. Godt, it keeps it cool. We don't have any thermal throttling, men, the noise of it does annoy me now. If you're going to be using this in a TV cabinet, you might not even hear it, but if you're going to have it sitting next to you, then I find that noise to be a little bit annoying and one of the benefits of atoms normally is. They are passively cooled, so they're completely dead, Tavs. This isn't the case here and another thing that I didn't like was the fact that, if you plug in an external hard drive, you will hear this buzz noise and interference. Coming from the speakers which isn't good to hear the screen is good. 3 ved 2 ratio is nice, but I think it's more beneficial in an actual tablet, and not this kind of hybrid that we have here the brightness of it at only 200 moments of brightness isn't really enough and the other thing about it. Godt, there's, no microphone! So we can't use Cortana, which is disappointing. The x9 had that same problem. So can I actually recommend getting this? Godt, it depends what your needs are. If you want a hybrid mini PC with a larger screen on there, that you don't need a keyboard to launch applications or search on YouTube through your TV, then it's, something to think about.
But personally I would go with the x9 because it doesn't have a noisy fan in it. Tak så meget for at se denne anmeldelse, and hopefully I'll see you back in the channel, with more upcoming reviews on tick from China.
