The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE book cover truly lives up to its reputation as a stylish and solid accessory. Its quality is undeniable, making it a regret for anyone who misses out on getting one. However, it’s worth mentioning that there aren’t many casing options available for this tablet yet. The few options that are available tend to be of lower quality. If you plan on using a protective casing for your tablet, I recommend opting for the duxdis Tobi casing to ensure a good fit and protection.

Affordable Pricing

The Wi-Fi-only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, the entry-level model, is officially priced at Rp6,499,000. There is a seller offering various bonuses, and I have noticed that several sellers in Bandung are actually selling it for Rp6,170,000 to Rp6,170,000, which is even cheaper. The tablet is indeed genuine, as evident from its packaging. Hopefully, the contents are just as good, as the plastic wrapping seems to indicate. The tablet comes in a gray color, and unfortunately, there are no other color options available for this Wi-Fi-only model.

Impressive Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Let’s unbox and have a closer look at it. This tablet is a more affordable alternative to the S6 Lite, which I recently posted about on my YouTube community tab. The price has significantly dropped, making it worth the money. It’s the cheapest option on topad, starting at Rp4,500,000. This tablet boasts of a 10.4-inch full HD display and, most importantly, comes with the S Pen. Additionally, the S6 Lite 2022 model supports 4G LTE connectivity and is powered by the Snapdragon 720 processor.

Tablet without Cellular Connectivity

Why did I choose the S9 FE over other options? Well, for starters, I don’t need cellular connectivity for my tablet. Whether it’s tethering or using an Android smartphone from Samsung, I can easily create an auto hotspot. This way, I can turn on the hotspot from the tablet itself instead of using the smartphone. Of course, both devices need to be linked to the same Samsung ID account. With this in mind, I decided to opt for the S9 FE as my first tablet, as it suits my needs perfectly.

Unboxing Experience

Let’s set aside the tablet for now and take a look at what’s inside the package. Apart from the charger, which is not included, we have the S Pen in gray. It bears some resemblance to the S Pen that comes with the S6 Lite. As for the size, I’m not entirely sure if it’s the same or not. The tablet itself is made in Vietnam. The Unboxing of SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S9 FE

I recently made the decision to leave my iPad behind and switch to the new SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S9 FE. In this article, I will be sharing my unboxing experience and my initial impressions of the device. Let’s dive in!

Design and Features

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE comes in a sleek and ergonomic design. It is equipped with a rear camera of 8 megapixels and a front camera that is even larger. This is a smart move by Samsung as tablets are often used for video calls, online meetings, and even selfies.

On the top side of the tablet in landscape mode, you will find two microphone holes. The total number of microphones on the device will need closer examination. There are also volume rockers, a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is a necessary feature for me as I find face unlock to be a bit tiring.

At the top and bottom sides, you can see antenna lines and a speaker grill. The speakers are stereo and powered by AKG. Although there are only two speakers, the sound quality is impressive. I did a comparison with the E tab S6 Lite and Tab A8, and the Tab S9 FE was clearly the winner.

Additional Features

The tablet comes with a set of Pogo pins at the bottom for magnetic docking. This is useful if you want to connect it to a keyboard or a case. However, the keyboard case is quite expensive, so I’ll have to consider that later. There is also a solid and sturdy docking mechanism, and the sound is still enhanced by AKG.

The logo of Samsung on the back is accompanied by antenna lines that connect from top to bottom and to the edges. This makes a total of four antenna lines on each side, giving a uniform look. The back cover is not two-toned, which is a good thing. Another microphone is also present, making a total of four microphones. This is particularly useful for recording meetings when the person speaking is in front of the camera.

Setup and User Interface

I set up the tablet using the one UI setup, and I must say, I quite enjoyed the experience. The setup process was fast and efficient. Skipping certain steps was a breeze, and transferring data from my Galaxy smartphone was seamless. Samsung has really made it user-friendly, much like the setup experience with an iPad and an iPhone.

After the setup, I checked the storage capacity, which is 128 GB. Currently, 254 GB of storage is used, and I have 1026 GB of free space. The tablet has 6 GB of RAM, and there is an option to enable RAM Plus, which adds an additional 4 GB of RAM. The navigation bar is placed at the bottom of the screen, and you can customize it to your preference.
